The 173rd Economic Policy Evening

Highlights from the 173rd ACCF Economic Policy Evening, an evening Senator Joe Lieberman calls “Washington’s last salon.” It was a well attended evening, with a broad spectrum of ideology and spirited discussion.

A broad range of topics were discussed throughout the evening including how to reduce the exploding deficit, the great expansion of health care, political odds of an energy or climate change bill passing this year, financial reforms and accounting standards, and the impact of new taxes on investment and upper incomes.
